SinoLatin Capital Partner Luis Gomez Cobo spoke at the Horasis China Business Meeting in Luxembourg which took place on November 21.

This was this Horasis's sixth Global China Business Meeting. The meeting was co-hosted by Luxembourg for Business and the China Federation of Industrial Economics. Over 400 leaders met under the theme 'Globalizing Chinese Firms'. The theme reflects the increased emphasis of Chinese firms to build global and sustainable brands. The program offered multiple means to gain insight from and access to business leaders and key government officials.

Delegates debated the impact of the global economic crisis and how China is shaping the post-crisis world. China's lead in the global economic recovery has been underscored by effective government stimulus measures, robust domestic consumption and increasing economic integration on a regional and global level. The 2010 Global China Business Meeting attached importance on the increasing role that China plays in global trade and investment.

Other notable speakers included Mr. Li Ruoguo, Chairman of the China Exim Bank, Mr. Liang Xinjun, Vice Chairman and CEO of the Fosun Group, as well as Mr. Zhu Jimin, Chairman of the Shougang Group.
